Size of teeth is very big
Hello doctor. The first four teeth of the upper jaw( the one that gets displayed whenever we smile)  is very big for me.  Though it is not protuded and infact it is well aligned.  Its is huge in size.   10mm in length and 7 mm in breadth (Not sure whether im thinking it as big) but Its been a problem that is affecting my smile and personality. Every time I see a person with a normal sized perfectly aligned teeth.  I totally avoid giving a open smile showing my teeth.  And manage it with a lip smile with mouth closed. What is the solution for this.? Can the length of my teeth be sliced a bit to make it perfect or do I have to remove those teeth undergoing surgery and fix a artificial normal sized tooth? Pls help me out in this

Sometimes adjusting the length by intruding (pushing the teeth into the gums) would help with braces. A mock model can be made for you to assess it. Cutting your teeth wouldn't be wise but the other option would be to cut your teeth and give you crowns . But the adjacent teeth need to be readjusted too or youl end up with space. Again a mock model can help you to decide on treatment Visit a dentist

You will need to go for a check up. The dentist will evaluate your tooth size , jaw size , facial aesthetics to determine the best line of treatment for you. Depending on the evaluation you can go in for either laminates or veneers or orthodontic treatment to give you the kind of look you desire.

The size of the teeth vary from person to person and they look small or big relative to the other facial structures. A proper clinical evaluation of the case needs to be done to ascertain whether there is actually an absolute increase in size or is it relative and whether any corrective measures are required or not. Simple slicing of the teeth is not the remedy because it can change the ratio of height and width of the teeth and can make them unsightly and that change will be Irreversible. It will be better if you post a clinical picture of your teeth on this platform for an online consultation with a specialist. Regards.
