Skin infection/rashes
The infected area burns like hell. The infection was diagnosed by a couple of doctor. However, yet no joy. Please suggest what needs to be done. Qhat does this infection looks line. Need immediate advise.

Hello.. this seems to be like a fungal infection. It is needed to be trated with antifungal medicines. The picture seems of thigh and i presume your groin region is also affected. Are any other body part involved? Detailed history regarfing the lesion is needed alomg with what medicines you have applied. Itrazol seems itraconazole which is oral antifungal and should have worked.

Consult a dermatologist. if needed you need to go for a bl sugar (incr bl sugar causes incr risk of infection) and liver function test assessment (if there is need to put you on oral antifungal)

avoid tight fitting garments. weare loose cotton inder garments. when at home use loose pyjamas. the area should alwaya be kept clean amd dry. sweatimg should be immediately tapped off with cotton cloth. of you are overweight, lifestyle modification is needed. you can use a KZ soap for bath. Rest medicines should be started on asvise of doctor.
