They are not harmfull
Neither there is any med to prevent tuem from occurin
Get them removed

Hi. Skin tags are skin out growths that may possibly occur due to age / hereditary factors / diabetes mellitus / etc . There may not be a definite way to prevent them, but you could treat them at will with ablative laser / radio frequency ablation. Warm regards, Dr Govind S Mittal, Bengaluru

Skin tag is a common problem and Radio frequency ablation which is a minor surgery can be performed to get rid of it. This procedure leaves an imperceptible scar.
Check your blood sugars
Regular physical activity helps to control this to some extent
