From last 17 years I am suffering from a skin condition in which the skin of my feet and hands gets dry and skin flakes comes out. It itches and irritates like anything. I have undergone various medications. The condition improves and ince I stop the condition again reappear. Recently I applied Halovate S ointment. When I came to know that its steroid I stopped using it. I am attaching picture of the affected area.
Please note that:
My thyroid is normal.
Recently, 6 months back I gave birth and I am breastfeeding mother.

This is palmoplantar psoriasis. It is controllable with medication but not curable
Tab. Primosa (1000mg)- once after dinner for 4 months
Wash affected area twice daily with Cetaphil cleansing lotion
Morning and night-apply MOISTUREX cream + CLONATE OINTMENT- mix in equal proportion and apply for 2 weeks
After 2 weeks stop CLONATE OINTMENT and apply only MOISTUREX CREAM TWICE DAILY for four weeks
Review after 4 weeks

Don't worry...you are suffering from psoriasiform dermatitis causing this... specific Medicine available for good control... Treatment depends on the severity..Do direct online consultation for detailed prescription .
Hello dear. Are there any other body sites affected ? Given the duration of your condition, a thorough medical check up is warranted, including a cardiac profile and joints checkup, if it really is psoriasis. I am very much inclined towards thinking of other possible diagnoses.
