Skin redness and itchines
Hello, I'm 27 years old. Whenever I scratch my skin within 2 mins it'll swell and turns red. I consulted a doctor, she prescribed a tablet and after using it, the swelling and redness reduced. But, if I didn't take the tablet even for 1 day, I'm getting this itchiness all over my body and redness. I couldn't spend a day without the tablet. Can anyone explain what is this? Is this a serious problem? And is there any treatment for this?

Hello,your symptoms suggest that you hav urticaria and dermographism.it could be acute onset or chronic.acute is for short period onset when you get exposed to allergen it occurs.yes,you need to take medicines for longer duration depending on severity.regular check up with dermatologist is needed to know severity and for treatment.
