Skin tanning
Hello doctor;
My hands and face look darker than the rest of my body. Though I started using sunscreen which will prevent me from further more tanning. But I want to remove the tan and get even skin tone; so suggest me the best tan removal cream.

There can be several causes why your skin would turn dark or you may get pigmentation. Sun tan, overweight, pigmentation disorders like acanthosis nigricans or melasma, nutritional deficiency etc are some conditions. Unless someone examines you, we cannot know the cause. Unless we find out the cause it is difficult and pointless to treat. Please send photos with detailed history using online consult option for examination and proper treatment.,

Physical protection is by far the cheapest and best way to prevent and reverse tanning. It can be in the form of cap, umbrella, etc. along with that chemical protection in the form of a good SPF sunscreen is also important. Chemical peeling helps to exfoliate skin thus removing tanning and helps in lightening and brightening the skin. A series of chemical peels are generally required which helps you achieve your colour.
