Slow teeth eruption
My daughter is 14 months. I could see her first teeth peeping when she was 11.5 months. Now she has 2 lower front teeths and one upper front teeth peeping out. One of my colleague said this is very slow growth, she might have calcium deficiency. She doesn't drinks outside milk, I am trying since she was 9 month to give her formula/cow milk/ full cream. She just doesn't takes it however she is breastfeed on demand. She eats small quantity of yogurt with food and takes bread soaked in whole milk daily. Can she have calcium deficiency? Or this type of teeth growth is normal.

Hi dear, it's absolutely normal. Some children have late eruption but this is normal so, don't worry about that

Every child has a different growth rate . A child may get their first tooth at 5 months or much later like your daughter. She is showing slightly delayed eruption but that is nothing to worry about. This does not indicate calcium deficiency. It is only a growth pattern. She may also get her permanent teeth later. You need not worry but do take her for regular dental check ups to ensure healthy teeth
