Soft tissue sweling-Painless
Patient is having recurrent soft tissue swelling post twice excision. On MRI- Soft tissue mass with multiple cystic lesion HPE of previous excision- Granulomatous lesion... CBNAAT- Negative Mx test - Negative ZN stain- Negative .. Recently 1 doctor adviced to start AKT-4 based on HPE report .. Should we start AKT-4 drug??

The histology slides must be reviewed. Diagnosis must be made. If no conclusion is reached, a therapeutic trial of ATT may be tired. Patient must be informed about  it.

Unless proven tuberculosis lesion make sure your lungs and other organs are fine. Where is this lesion?. If it is skin very uncommon can be foreign body granuloma or epidermoid cyst/sebaceous cyst where recurrence is common.. Speak to a proper specialist before starting the medication s and get guidance

I would like to confirm the diagnosis before starting the treatment. Taking AKT 4 is a commitment and it does have side effects too.
