Something in my ear
There is this hard(crisp like) wart in my ear that has bern there for some time now. its realy annoying because i cant use ear pods. please help

Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. Warts and furuncles in the ear and outer ear canal are easily removed by surgery, cautery, cryosurgery or radiofrequency.
Next Steps
2. A local ENT/Skin Specialist or a Plastic surgeon will be able to examine and treat the wart.
Health Tips
3. The removed specimen should be sent for histopathology and HPV (Human Papillloma Virus) testing.
4. Avoid excessive use of ear buds which can also cause growths due to repeated trauma to the delicate ear skin.
