  4. Sore throat. Water or eat ice cream?

I have a sore throat and I keep getting it every few months because of dust and sinusitis, it stays for a week or so, is it fine to drink cold water or eat ice cream? I mostly drink lot of hot water with salt, doesn't seem to help.
