His urine shows infection, which can be treated by medicines only. Once his urine is free from infection he will need few tests to assess the passage of urination ( RGU +MCU). Depending upon the test result the treating doctor will decide that if his SPC can be removed or he needs some surgery to correct the obstruction.

Now start antibiotics for urine infection as per treating urologist. Tab Levoflox 500 mg once daily for 15 days will be sufficient. Then after gap of 3-4 days do repeat Irvine culture only, no need to repeat urine r/m. Then RGU/MCU will be done. Accordingly it will be decided that he may or may not need any surgery for urethra like OIU/Urethroplasty. And after proper reconstruction of urethra this DPC tube can be removed. It’s long way ahead.
