Special Child (Mental Health related)
Hello Dr, My sister, Bushra, is a 12 yrs old special child. She is mentally weak by birth. We assume that she is autistic but we haven't been able to get a proper answer from any doctor about her condition yet. She has difficulty in speech and is very thin for her age, only weighing 21kgs. She has a tendency to hit herself in the face with her fists, which results in a black eye most of the times. As she is growing, she is developing a tendency to scream non-stop for hours. From few months, her abdomen looks bloated. Doctors had said there was a infection in her intestines, for which she was being treated until recently, with not much improvement. Earlier this week, we got her MRI scanned in SRMS Hospital, Bareilly (UP). I have attached the report with this note. She is on medication too. Please advise from your expertise what you think of her condition and have any comments to share on the MRI report or any other suggestions regarding any doctor, treatment, therapy etc. Thanks a lot.

MRI picture is very hezy i cant read any thing on the report. At first u have to consult a good child specialist or child-neuro specialist. Take advice from her and make proper diagnosis. Then u consult a homoeopathic doctor and take chronic treatment for ur child. Both alopathic and hom4 treatment can be continue side by side. Then u have to consult psychologist. Psychologist help u and child to combat every day skill and help ur child to improve skills with the help of behaviour therapy, group therapy, plsy therapy etc. I know it is not easy to handle 3 specialist at a time...but i think it is helpful to you.
