The maximum recovery has happened in your case as it is 2.5 years since the accident. Depending on the strength in the different muscle groups, an adapted wheelchair with splints for your lower limbs will be very useful. Since there is no muscle control or strength in the lower limbs, callipers will not be of much use. You will benefit from using splints along with some fixed braces. You will need good amount of physiotherapy and rehabilitation to be able to use it comfortably. Hope this helps. Dr Vinu Raj Consultant Spine Surgeon MBBS MRCS FRCS(Trauma&Orth)

Take consultation from spine specialist. Also try Indian spine injuries centre in new Delhi. They will help with rehabilitation as well.
