You seem to be suffering from benign paroxysmal positional vertigo which is a common type of vertigo problem. Confirmation of the diagnosis is done by a maneuver known as Dix Hallipike maneuver. If confirmed treatment is done by doing another maneuver known as Epley maneuver. Medications are usually not beneficial
