These light coloured patches are areas of hypopigmentation, that is loss of normal skin pigment. There can be many causes for this, like an infection or even a body's immune system response.

It's  a superficial  fungal infection  of the skin known as tinea versicolor  , keep the skin dry , avoid sweating  , do not reuse the clothes without  washing  , keep your clothes towel and soap separate,  kindly  take a online  consultation  for proper treatment
