Stomach issues
My stomach is distended to the point i look 9 months pregnant. It is really hard to the touch. It is painful to lay on, and if I squeeze it in the middle it is a sharp pain. Center of my back feels as if someone is pushing their fist in it. I had my thyroid removed and take calcium daily. This started almost at the same time. I don't know what to do, doctors i have asked can not give me any answers. I have always been a size 5 throughout my life and now I am a size 12 because my pants will not fit around my stomach.

Hello there...i understand your concern...try eating several small meals instead of three large ones whenever you can...Avoid foods that irritate your stomach, especially those that are spicy, acidic, fried or fatty... avoid coffee, tea etc... Avoid stress, consider calming activities, such as meditation, yoga etc...sleep with head raised position and have dinner at least 2 hours before sleep..do regular exercises...take pantaprazole 40 mg twice daily before food with above....consult physician if symptoms persists.
