Stomach Pain, Swelling

Asked for Female, 45 Years

Three days earlier my mother woke up early morning and had vomiting thrice, since then she is experiencing sharp pain in stomach. While the pain last she feels nauseous and she is having swelling in her stomach. She feels like vomiting but from past two three days she haven't vomited. But the pain is still present.

Hello. She may be suffering from Sub-acute Intestinal Obstruction. It a quite serious disease in elderly, may rapidly progress to acute intestinal obstruction, even intestinal perforation. DO NOT IGNORE. Consult a General surgeon immediately. She may need hospitalisation. Also do a USG of whole abdomen urgently.
