Hi , Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the gold standard treatment for gall stone disease, if pt is unfit for Laparoscopy or difficult dissection, then go through open procedure also. But there is no alternetive treatment for gall stone disease et al. Gall stones are generally asymptomatic for very long period ( many years) so if someone without fallowup try some remady have false impression of improvement.

Laparoscopic removal of gallbladder is a safe process and you can get discharged within 24 hours. There is no medical treatment other than surgery.

It is better to get operated to avoid any complications in the future which may happen anytime. Get in touch with a surgeon as with laparoscopic surgery post operative  recovery is very quick.
