My mom is suffering from stress from a long time. I would like to consult a good psychiatrist or a psychologist based in Thane. She fears that she would be given a wrong treatment and hence refrains from visiting one. So would like to know a good doctor in Thane.

As the Patient is suffering from psychological disturbance she will definitely say no for consultation. But you need to take an action against her will to bring her to a Psychiatrist.
Don't waste time in searching about who is best psychiatrist. First try to approach a Psychiatrist as soon as possible if you are not satisfied with that doctor even after many days of treatment then try to change the doctor
