Stress alleviation requires going to the cause and removing or coping up with the cause.  If you are unable to do so plz take professional help that is going to a Psychologist. But should be done religiously. Make a self rating scale of 0 to 10 where 0 = absence of anxiety , 10 = highest level of anxiety experienced. Each time you set yourself to do this exercise - note your anxiety level on 0 to 10 scale in a copy. Do the rating before exercise and after the exercise. Twice daily. Thus in a day u get 4 readings. Stress is a multifaceted problem. It happen due to some causes and it also bring some disorder along with it. Financial problems, career problems, jobless, health issues, etc there are many causes for stress. It brings some other symptoms like less concentration, lack of memory, irritability, sleeplessness, loss of appetite etc. To stop this u must search the exact causes of stress and then solve each problem. Solution is not fixed ,it can vary according to symptoms presentation.

Regular exercise, aerobics, or yoga for at least half an hour per day should help to reduce stress. Counselling / therapy may be helpful for handling specific stressors.

Hello practo user I can understand the difficulty you are facing in your life right now.Stress can be caused due to an underlying personal or professional issue which can be contributing to your disturbed sleeping cycles . To improve your sleep try to relax before going to bed : Have a warm bath, listen to quiet music or do some gentle yoga to relax the mind .Turn Your Bedroom into a Sleep-Inducing Environment : Your bedroom should be a peaceful place for rest and sleep. Temperature, lighting and noise should be controlled so that your bedroom environment helps you to fall asleep. You should also try and not work on your bed and limit the time on your phone once you try to sleep . It would be beneficial if you consult a clinical psychologist for better management of symptoms through regular counseling session.
