Stress from coping with parent's illness
Hi, My father's been diagnosed with a type of malignant tumour and the whole family's shaken. I'm the only child and I'm doing my best to be positive and supportive, but I find myself wanting to eat junk food, smoke, or craving a drink all the time to take the edge off and be that positive version of myself. I will seek in person help from a therapist when I get the time - in a couple of months or so - but I know this is not ideal, so was wondering if there are any specific things I can do to cope better. Thanks
