Stye in eye
I have a stye in my eye that is not going away. I have used ofalxin eye drop and hot water towel yet it still persists.

Hello You may need A. Warm compresses B. Apply antibiotic ointment like azithromycin ointment locally over lid margins C. systemic antibiotic like Ciprofloxacin tablet 500mg twice daily may be required provided you are not allergic to Ciprofloxacin This may take a week for recovery Consult local ophthalmologist if problem persist

You may take a course of antibiotics after consulting your doctor. Eye drops may not help much IMO. Once the course is finished, start a warm dry compress ( not boiling water ) twice a day for 5 mins. Do this for a month or more if required. Also make sure your eyes and hands are clean and always use good quality eye make up and clean your make up before going to sleep. Get your eyes checked if you have any difficulty in your vision. Hopefully this should help.
