Substitute medicine
Mother has Asthma and doctor has prescribed Xanilax SR 200 as a substitute for Theoasthalin SR. Is it correct? Please suggest this medicine is also costly.

Inhaler will be much better than oral medications if asthma is not very severe.

It is similar group medicine with less side effect. But if your mother has asthma then first choice is inhaler medicine (ICS). If asthma is not controlled after taking inhaler s then you can take these oral medicine.
