Hi doctor!
my wife is diabetic and she had been prescribed forxiga10 tab once daily.
problem is she is getting veginal infection due to this.
please suggest some substitute.
currently she is on
ondero5 once daily
foxiga 10 once daily
glyree 2 once daily

Indeed vaginal infections are the commonest SE to the Forxiga and the reason for discontinuation of the medication in most cases . However if the infection is confined to vaginal thrush , then I might suggest to continues. but if the symptoms include bacterial infection , including urinary tract infection , she may well have to consider stopping it. further evaluation needed to understand her condition so that appropriate treatment can be suggested.
