Sudden change of attitude of doctor
I have some queries regarding the sudden attitude change of our doctor.. My wife is 35 weeks pregnant and her age is 35 years old and has Gestational diabetic, Up to now doctor has behalf properly but things have changed since our last visit few days back.. In our last visit he said that he will provide us operation date in upcoming visit as operation will be done on 37th week but during last visit he didn't give us operation date and advise that it will be given in next visit and gave us one USG test whereas in earlier visit he said no more USG test is required.. Now when we interacted with him over phone he behalf strangely by saying I have given you medicine to control sugar, can't do anything more.. So, why there is a sudden change in his attitude? What shall we do now?

Gestational diabetes If controlled well can be followed up for normal delivery till 40weeks provided close maternal and fetal surveillance us there An elective cs is usually planned at 38weeks I would suggest trust your doctor as he is also equally concern for u and ur child

May be u misunderstood him. Please continue to have faith in your gynaecologist. All doctors always have patients interest first in their minds. In diabetes, maintain good sugar control. As per my protocol scan is done at 38 weeks and caesarean is done at 39 weeks for uncontrolled diabetes. Controlled diabetes with average size baby is induced for normal delivery at 39 weeks.
