Sudden fever
Hi doctor,
My 8 months baby Swallowed some water while bathing yesterday. And from today evening he has fever 102 degree and mild cold. Is that the reason for the fever because of water Swallowed by baby.. Pls advice.

Not likely due to swallowing of water. Give paracetamol and consult a pediatrician if fever persists.

Swallowing wont cause fever...
Give pcm for fever and cetirizine for cold...

Does child choked and coughed during bathing that time?? Just swallowing can't cause fever and cold.
Just give paracetamol syp and observe. consult Pediatrician if fever persists.
