Sudden shock in chest when I lie down
I feel sudden shock in chest when I lie down suddenly on bed, on sit on sofa, this is not happen every time, occasionally I get this. I have been facing this issue from last 5 years. The shock will last only for 1 sec not more than that. What could be the reason? I had done ECG and Holter monitor, all came out normal. I suffer from GERD and I can not hold my breath longer.

If ECG and holter is normal, most likely it could be GERD causing spasm in chest. Kindly take esomoprazole 40mg twice daily for a week
