Please see a general physician to diagnose the cause of fever and treat accordingly.
Fevers do take 5 days to recover.

Always see that temperature is under controll. Use a thermometer to monitor temperature. Keep the child warm, well rested and be light on diet. Avoid outdoors. Boiled water to be used for drinking.
