Dear sir My mother age 58 she was dialysis patient alternate day she will go for dialysis to private hospital she stay their half day for dialysis . but my query is I have 2 kids under below 2 yrs both.. In these covid time hope no any side effects to my children's or I have to be separate home pls advice .. if I have to be separate for time being than I will send my wife to her mother home pls tell am confuse . Sometime my mother also prepares food . I need genuine advice I don't feel any bad pls tell ..

1. Dialysis, given fr ckd, can hv added risk of infections as well as covid 19 2. If patient is not a covid contact or hv no symptoms of covid like fever, dry cough, sore throat, diarrhoea, breathlessness then no isolation is reqd ff family members

Patient due to high risk should follow all covid preventive guidelines like face masks, social distance etc

Hi. I understand your concern s. It's better to keep elders away from kids. As kids are asymptomatic carriers.

Hello noted above history and related concerns. As you mentioned dialysis patients are more prone to infection. So also kids below 5 yrs
