Patient consumed alkali 4 months ago. Now we consulted 3 doctors surgical gastro. Doctors are ready to remove his esophagus , stomach and connecting colon . Another doctor said no need to remove esophagus and stomach instead they do passage and connect colon in other way. My doubt is if they don't remove esophagus and stomach in future if he has to face malignacy or is it better to remove esphagus and stomach?

Risk of death due to malignacy in residual Esophagus and stomach is far less than taking the risk of associated complication with there removal. We can keep in surveillance in furure esp about a decade later.
Presently most imp factor to plan any surgical plan is current respiratory system status and general fitness, which are best assessed by treating surgeons.
