How long a person can survive if diagnosed hiv positive at early stage? Please state life expectancy in india.

If diagnosed very early, before HIV infection causes AIDS, with highly active anti retroviral therapy (HAART) and quality care person may live normal life span of upto 70 years or more. HAART is available at major govt hospitals. Key is to maintain medication. After developing AIDS, survival varies with CD4 Counts and opportunistic infections. It is best to visit ART clinic of major govt hospital in city. You can find such hospital and related information on www.naco.gov.in
