Swallowed Magnet ,X Ray done
My Daughter is 2.5years old, accidentally she swallowed one round shape magnet , we did XRay and magnet was visible in small intestine, he suggested to bring to emergency if any vomiting, abdominal pain . Should we wait for it pass through stool or do one X-ray? It's almost 18hrs she swallowed

Once it passed through the iliocolic junction then no problem it will pass through stool but keep watching carefully if any symptoms like pain, distension and vomiting develops then visit to pediatric gastroenterology.

if it has reached upto small intestine then it should come out of its own but if it doesn't come out then colonoscopy is required
