Swallowing
When my stomach hurts I'll get a weird feeling in my throat sometimes and I'll have to swallow saliva until the pain in my stomach goes away. Why is that?

Either you have gastritis or a reflux disorder. You need to consult a Medical Specialist and may be go for an UGI Endoscopy.
