Swelling and pain.Because of WT or crack
I have low jaw pain and swelling under ear. It's hurt to touch. Been there for more than a month. Went to different doctors. Sinus infection cleared up with antibiotics. Went to dentist after taking antibiotics. So he said he couldn't see any Infection in any tooth. Did bite test,I felt discomfort on one spot in low first molar. So he said I have tooth fracture l,get extracted. That tooth is sensitive to cold more than other tooth, hurts to bite on one spot. My upper wisdom tooth also erupted. So told me to remove that. My swelling is same from day 1 and it's been more than a month. Whether tooth crack/fracture cause jaw pain &swelling? What could be the reason? It hurts throughout the day& night. I took paracetamol,NSAIDs, muscle relaxant medicines prescribed. I want to know the proper cause of this pain and swelling and treat that tooth first. Do I need to extract the low first molar? Any opinions please. What to do to reduce pain and swelling? None of the medicines reduce both. help.

The X-ray looks clean, you have no dental infection. The pain can be associated with TMJ arthralgia or other TMJ disorders. Do you feel a clicking sound on opening your mouth wide? Does it pain if you press hard on the joint below the ear? If yes, then there can be a TMJ disorder.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist for clinical examination.

According to your x-ray there is no infection in your teeth. But if your dentist said that there is a crack then there are other treatment options too like rct but it also depends upon the type of  fracture in your teeth. For that we need to see clinically. I would also like to know if you have any teeth grinding habits. Sometimes this also leads to jaw pain. Then dentist would give you night guards to reduce your contact between the teeth. It would be better if you visit your regular dentist and get it thoroughly checked.
Health Tips
Do not give any hot/cold compression from outside to reduce swelling.
