Swelling in opt tibia
Sir, I operated tibia on 05 dec 17. Now I am trying to walk but I m getting swelling in fracture area. Now I should walk or not and I have pain a little bit.

Start walking with partial weight bearing n gradually increase load on affected leg. Swelling can be there for some time so better use ice on fracture area. Also get done x Ray to confirm about union of bone. Also start strengthening exercises of leg to improve power n to normalise weakness of affected leg. Also visit the Physiotherapist nearby who can help u in all these problems. need fresh xrays for assessment of union. please keep bearing weight but in a controlled manner on the affected side. normal to have little pain and swelling at fracture site upto 6 months. please follow up with xrays over a personal consultation
