Swollen in lips due to oral injury.
I have a cut in my lips outside and cut inside the lips after I was fallen on the floor. The lips has swollen my dentist said it will in OK in 6-7 days and generally cut in lips don't leave any scar. So I want to know in how many days the cut in lips and swollen will go as I am finding difficulty in eating and will it leave any scar.

The lip has a visible line called Vermillion border. If the scar has disrupted that border, its cut will be visible specially outside the lip line. Please visit the dentist and let me check the integrity of the border. Your dentist must have prescribed some ointments to apply. Follow his instructions.
Next Steps
Apply ointments and take prescribed medicine
Health Tips
Avoid spicy and extremely hot food
