I had swollen cervical lymph nodes for 5 months. It was palpable but now its not. Ultrasound done and doctor said it is oval so no need to worry. Will i go with his words?

Lymph nodes are like the local police station. Every organ has a group of drsining lymph nodes. Whenever the particular organ is infected, the corresponding lymph nodes enlarge thus taking the infection from primary site.
Oral cavity and throat is very commonly infected due to breathing, swallowing, smoking etc etc
Therefore the lymph nodes too are enlarged almost alwsys.
If you have done ultrasound scan and the architecture is maintained then nothing to worry.
But if anything is suspicious then an FNAC of node is advisable.
