If gap appeared recently it may b due to calculus deposition & gingivitis.. Is there any history of bleeding gums or bad breath?
Next Steps
visit dentist for proper reason of gapping.. 1)if gap due to gingivitis go for scaling (sub & supragingival) 2) if midline diastema which was present from past go for composite restoration 3)if gap is due to high labial frenal attachment minor surgery by shifting d frenum should be done
Health Tips
if u have a problem of rapid plaque deposition go for scaling every 6months for maintenance
