Stains are two types extrinsic and intrinsic stains.extrinsic stains can be removed by cleaning and bleaching .But intrinsic stains should be check for the cause. Discolouration of teeth might be because of may reasons , depending on the cause treatment should be decided.
There are many reasons for teeth getting discoloured if there is no history of trauma and is dark in colour then u can go for bleaching in case stains are due to superficial stains but if it is from within then veneer has to made
