Temperature up and downs in my kid
Hello Doctor,
My 1yr 9 months old baby girl suffering with fever since last 24 hrs. Today I went to hospital and doctor gave meftol for fever 102.4. After some time temperature reduced and we went to home. At home suddenly my daughter started shivering , her body became cold and clenching her teeth. After 30 mins she again got high fever.. Please let me know the reason for temperature down..

Hi thanks for writing to Practo. Children do have spikes and dips of temperature. Manage fever with paracetamol or Meftal syp. And do revisit pediatrician, to rule out the possibility of an underlying problem.
