Temporary filling wearing out.
I have recently undergone RCT and the doctor has filled the tooth with temporary filling and has started to wear out, the doctor says capping could be done after couple of months. So for the time being can I purchase temporary filling cement and apply on my own?

Go with the permanent filling... As it hardly makes the difference because purchasing temporary cement makes no sense. And restoration is included in the rct cost

Sorry, you cant as the material would go waste. Check if it's a permanent filling or a temporary once again by your dentist. He or she would happily help you as complete wearing of the cement can damage the treatment done. So visit your dentist and ask for the advise.
