Your doctor is right. Ketorol dt can be taken along with diclofenac . Maximum dosage of diclofenac is 3 a day depending on dosage. One every 8 hourly only Apply ice packs on the outside intermittently for 5 minutes every hour. Pain and swelling are a sign of healing. Do not disturb extraction site.

Please follow the advice of your doctor because he is the best judge in this case as he has evaluated the case clinically. Ketorol is a better painkiller than diclofenac and also taking diclofenac 5 times a day is overdosage of that medicine. Extraction procedures can take variable duration of time depending upon the case but post extraction healing is a process that we cannot bypass and it can come with mild to moderate discomfort to the patient. Please follow the instructions given by the doctor meticulously for better and faster healing. Regards.
