Thin new growth post straightening
After a bad hair straightening procedure the new growth is thinner than before..What treatments can help heal scalp and damaged follicles to help start growing thick hair? I don't want to use minoxidil! Does applying vitamin-e on scalp help heal it? the thin new growth is purely due to the chemical treatment!

Hi Thanks for your query. Thinning of hair is related to the growth at root level. Straightening etc cause hair shaft breakage. You can use protein based conditioners to give volume to your hair.
