I am with my father during the treatment of radiation and chemo.
Plz recommend the types of precautions I should keeping in mind.

As your father is receiving radiation and chemo it is important to keep his hydration status maintained. Let him have plenty of fluids, soft diet which can be swallowed easily like ragi porridge, etc. It is important that he eats food which he can swallow easily and is also protein rich. The skin where he is receiving radiation can become red and inflamed. You can apply lactocalamine to prevent excoriation and infection. More than anything give him plenty of moral and emotional support during the course of his treatment.
