  4. Throat problem. Exactly is d problem.

My father is 72 yr old and he is suffering this from the last 4-5 yes. When he eats his meal,it gets stuck in the foodpipe and after gulping water he is able to vomit it out.lots n lots of test done even endoscopy but no help.Can anybody tell what exactly is d problem.

There are many causes for difficulty in swallowing which are categorized under esophageal motility disorders. He may need to undergo swallowing studies and sometimes Oesophageal manometry for identification if the cause. You should consult nearby gastroenterology specialist
