Throat soaring, no sound sleep at nights
I have been suffering from running nose for the last two days and wanting of more water at mid nights for the last few days. Sound sleep is not coming. The weight of the body increased by 5-6kgs for the last 2months. I am a retired employee. There is no considerable physical activity for the last 5-6 months. I made investigations for diabetice, thyroid and lipid profile. Except thyroid (6.5), all are normal. Please advise for further investigations.

Hi...... Rest. Get plenty of sleep and rest your voice. Drink fluids. Drink plenty of water to keep the throat moist and prevent dehydration. Try comforting foods and beverage. Warm liquids — broth, caffeine-free tea or warm water with honey — and cold treats such as ice pops can soothe a sore throat. Gargle saltwater. A saltwater gargle of 1 teaspoon. Gargle the solution and then spit it out.
