Hi my son had the thyroglossal cyst removed ten days back.There is still drainage. What does it mean?

It means that surgeon has not removed the cyst and track completely. Now it has formed into a thyroglossal fistula. It requires a surgery known as sistrunks operation. Consult nearby ENT specialist for details regarding this surgery
