When baby takes thyroid hormone from mother?. Would you kindly provide the week like 6 weeks or 7 weeks.

Hi, baby is not capable of forming thyroid hormone till 12-14 wks , hence there is transfer of maternal thyroid hormone across the placenta. Starts around 5.8 to 6 wks
