Thyroid levels during pregnancy
I am currently 35 weeks pregnant and on 125mcg eltroxin. My tsh was 0.052 on 1st June. I reduced the eltroxin dosage to 100mcg and today I did test and result are as follows T3 -80 T4 -8.6 Tsh- 0.165 My gynecologist told me if tsh is not controlled anaesthesia is difficult for c section planned this month end. Please recommend the dosage as no doctor is currently available.

Please consult with your physician. Who is controlling your medication s and knows about your complete history. Don't change your doctor every now and then.

Your TSH is still little suppressed.. It should not have any major issue with Anesthesia as long as free T4 is normal still u can reduce your dose  Saturday and sunday half tablet rest days same... Repeat TFT after 4c weeks.. Don't worry..!!

TSh levels won't change in one week, continue  100 ug, If T4 levels are normal no need to worry for anaesthesia
