I have a thyroid nodule measuring 2x2.1x2.9cm. The report says it’s a solid heterogeneous nodule with solid portions and some cystic portions without microcalifications. The solid portions are of iso or slightly hypoechogenic echotexture. It has well defined contours. No other modules. Does this type of nodule seem benign or malignant. I know only a biopsy will give me definite answers I just want your opinion.

As per the description of ultrasound report, solid component is highly suggestive of a malignancy... Please consult for further advise to confirm the pathology and discuss on further curative steps
